July 22 at the Howell's
Most of the congregation gathered for our annual outdoor service and picnic.
Marilyn and Eric guided discussion of a parable.
A dramatic reading of the parable and lots of singing rounded out the service.
Like all good Menno gatherings food plays an important role.
Between courses Mary explained the significance of communtion to children of all ages.
Mark and Mary helped serve communion
as did Marilyn and Eric.
After dessert it was time to chat and play.
Some of the bigger kids provided canoe rides to the younger.
All ages had fun.
